Alaskan Properties

Alaska has some unique properties.

We offer unique solutions.

Remote Properties

When most people think of real estate in Alaska, they think of homes for sale in Anchorage, Eagle River, and the Valley. Properties that you can drive to with your car. However there is a whole different side of Alaskan real estate that offers those with a sense of adventure a bit more seclusion from the hustle and bustle of the main population. These properties can’t be driven to, they can only be accessed by aircraft or boat. To some, these properties are the ultimate destination for peace and quiet. Most buy these properties to get away from the 9-5 in the city, but some call them home year round. No matter your reason for buying or selling a property off the beaten path, we are here to help. We have ways to get to properties that other agents just can’t get to. If your dream is to buy or sell a property that’s a bit off the road network, reach out to us, we would love to talk to you.

Airstrip Homes

When compared to the rest of the United States, Alaska has 6X the number of pilots per capita and 16X the number of airplanes per capita.  Pilots from all over the United States aspire to call Alaska home; it is the aviator's paradise, with some of the best backcountry and float flying in the world. It's the primary reason why Brett and Aurora relocated to Alaska; to go explore this great state by air. Aviation properties are extremely unique, it takes someone with extensive knowledge of everything from runway length, slope, hangar size, prevailing winds, and aircraft performance to help you make the right decision when it comes to buying your aviation dream home. If you’re a pilot that is thinking about buying or selling airport property, we are here to represent you. Brett has been a pilot since the early 2000’s and is rating in Fixed Wing Land, Sea, and Helicopter. He was an Air Traffic Controller at Lake Hood, Anchorage, and Merrill field, and has owned multiple aircraft from bonanzas to pacers, and everything in between. Aurora is also a fixed wing pilot, and she currently owns a Beechcraft Bonanza, which she frequently uses to fly around the anchorage area. She's getting her helicopter add-on certificate so she can join Brett in flying the #Boldcopter. Two Alaskan aviators are here to use their expertise to assist you in buying or selling Alaskan aviation property.

Float Accessible Homes

Brett use to say that helicopters were the best form of aviation… until he got his float rating. Now it depends on the day you ask him. There are more float plane accessible lakes in Alaska than anyone can really count. It seems that literally everywhere you look there is a float plane on a lake. If you are a float pilot, or just happen to live on a float accessible lake, you need someone that understands how that impacts the value of the home you’re buying or selling. With extensive float experience, Brett and Aurora can help you make the right decision when it comes to buying or selling your float accessible property. There is a lot to consider when you’re selling or buying a property to land your float plane. Length of the lake, depth of the lake, obstacles around the lake, and aircraft performance are just a few of the many considerations that impact the value of the property. Having someone on your team that understands the complexities of float flying will help make your buying or selling experience that much easier.
